How well a jurisdiction is producing aerospace-relevant talent — STEM degree conferrals in engineering and physical sciences, technical program completions, and employment in aerospace-adjacent NAICS — relative to population.

NCES / IPEDS degree conferrals: Aerospace, mechanical, electrical, CS degree counts per state.
BLS OEWS: Employment in aerospace-adjacent SOCs.
BLS QCEW: Establishment counts for training-relevant industries.

Output shape

0–100 score per jurisdiction. Visible downstream: top feeder institutions and five-year graduate trend in the authenticated dashboard.

Why it is shaped this way

Defense buyers increasingly ask "can this state sustain a new line on the workforce already here?" AWPI answers that without you running the Census crosswalks yourself.
